Jacob Lee Downing, was born May 29, 1926, to Daisy nee` Jackson and Johnson Downing of Hertford, North Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, January 8th 2011 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Mr. Downing moved to Atlantic City in 1950, after marrying Lillie Beatrice Bembry. He found employment with the Abbotts Dairy Plant on the production line where he worked for many years. After many years of spreading the Gospel, Reverend Downing became an Ordained Minister in the Holy Temple Church of God in Christ in Atlantic City.
