Obituary of Mae Ella Deal
Mae Ella Deal born May 28, 1940, to Moses and Ruby Jones in Mullica Township, NJ. She departed this earthly life and went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 6, 2010, from her home. A member of First Holiness Church of God in Christ in Elwood, New Jersey. She also worshipped with True Spirit Ministry of Pleasantville, New Jersey.She was educated in the Mullica Township Public School system. She later received her Nurses' Assistance Certification. Mae was a long time employee of King David Convalescence Center. She was lastly employed with the Atlantic City Board of Education as a cafeteria worker. As the saying goes: "It takes a village to raise a child". Our mother was that village. All the kids on the block would come to our house. They were welcomed, fed and cared for. If love and support was needed, she was the one giving it. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhuby and Moses Jones; sister, Mary Howard, and daughter, Regina Rowe. She leaves a legacy of love to: spouse, Eugene Deal; her children, Florence Aikens (Barnett)of Brigantine, NJ, Gloria Deal of Atlantic City, Gregory Deal (Renee) of Atlantic City, Frances Lisa Thompson (Johnnie)of Atlantic City, Charles Giddens of Atlantic City, Patrice Molley (Benjamin)of Clarkston, GA, Sidney Deal (Taahirah)of Pleasantville, Harry Deal (Nicole), and step-son Charles Wynn of Pleasantville; long time companion, Charles Giddens; four sisters, Shirley Adams of Hammonton, Josephine Hitch (Colombus)of Pleasantville, Ruby Jones (George)of Richmond, VA, and Valerie Durr (Dracey)of Elwood, NJ; brother, Moses Jones, Jr. of Elwood, NJ; aunt, Rebecca McDonald of East Orange, NJ; cousins, Chancy, Dolly and Albert McDonald of New Jersey; thirty-four grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other Family and friends.
