Obituary of Cynthia Elizabeth Butts-Boyer
Cynthia Elizabeth Butts Boyer of Atlantic City, New Jersey was called home on November 15, 2010.
Cynthia was born March 22, 1954, in Marietta, Georgia to Josephine Daniell and the late Paul Aaron Butts, Sr.
She attended and graduated from Atlantic City High School with the Class of 1972. She was very athletic and loved sports. She also loved to read.
"Cindy" as she was called affectionately by her co-workers at Resorts International Casino Hotel. At Resorts she received numerous awards for her outstanding performance, dedication, commitment, and honesty in her more than 22 year career.
She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was aloways willing to give of herself without reservation. Her word was her word. She helped any and everyone she could. Anyone who knew "Our Mom" knew she loved her children. Above all, she was a fighter and fought to the end and did not complain.
She is predeceased by: her father, Paul Butts, Sr.; brother, Kenneth Butts, Sr.; and twin grandchildren, Sanaa and David Hankerson, Jr.
Cindy is survived by: her loving and devoted children, Jerome Butts (Tina), Jackie Hankerson (David), and Shena Wiley (Clayton); siblings, Joyce Wilkerson (Richard), Paul Butts, Jr. and Willie Mae :Tiny" Butts; grandchildren, Biyonka, Rameek, Eddie, Jayneasha, Janeira, Takiya and Asia; one great-grandson; companion, Naim johnson; best friend, Ronald "Peanut" Scott and a host of other family and friends.
