Please share a memory of Clarice to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On June 22, 1945, God gave us a beautiful gift who was affectionately called Reese. Clarice E. Mozelle was born in Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana to Andrew and Beatrice Bazemore. She futhered her education as a nurse and was lastly employed by the Oceanview Facility in Atlantic City, New Jersey for over thirty-five years. As she matured into a woman, she was called Wife. As her life journeyed on, the names Mothers, Mom, and Grandmom were added. She was truly truly dedicated to her family and always helped others along the way. There was absoilutely nothing she wouldn't do for her family! She enjoyed baking (especially sweet potato pie), laughing, joking, and watching her favorite channel, 47 (NCIS, CSI and 48 Hours). She was under "watchcare" at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Newtonville, New Jersey. One early morning as she slept, she heard a voice saying, My child, My angel, are you ready to come home? She answered, Yes, my Lord. On Monday, March 8, 2010, she took her journey from earth to be with her predeceased loved ones; Mom and Dad, Andrew and Beatrice, daughter, Joannette, and her spouse of fifty years, David, Sr. As her journey was in full progress, she left behind four beautiful children; Johnny, Virgil, Pastor David Jr., and Toshia; siblings; Maxine, Vera, and Andrew; mother-in-law, Virginia Mozelle; sisters-in-law, Beulah Mozelle, Shirley Edwards (Ernest, MD), Dorothy Mozelle-Thomas (Girard) and Delores Wright (James); brothers-in-law, Ernest Mozelle and Samuel Mozelle (CharLyn); her grandchildren, Quashea Smith (Rashard), Qua'shad, Quintayva, John, Jr., Jeff, Ky-Ky, Jamilla, Katura and Virgil, Jr., Juwane, Jamie, Shakur, Abriya, Briana, Luc, Jr., Taeisha-Joa'nnette, David, III, Bobby, Ryand and Ariana; a special nephew, John Brooks; a special niece, Jeannette White; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. While on the Wings of Love, she looked into the heavens and said, Thank you Lord for giving me such a wonderful family. And as she took one more look down to earth she said, Thank you family for loving me!
