Obituary of John H. Smith, Jr.

John H. Smith, Jr., of Atlantic City, was born September 8, 1944, to John H. Smith, Sr., and Elizabeth Prater Smith in Atlantic City. 'Johnnie, Jr.' served his country honorably in the United States Army. He worked at Joe Abate Coat Factory in Atlantic City, Jersey Coat Company in Egg Harbor City, and lastly at Bally's Park Place as a valet presser for 22 years. Johnnie, Jr. is predeceased by: his parents; sister, Lisa Smith; brother, Lavert 'Termite' Smith; son, Sean Farmer. He leaves to cherish his memory: companion for more than 40 year, Kathleen Dudley; daughters, Stephanie Drummond, Stacey Bass, Sonya Taylor (Brian), Cynthia Heard (Anthony) and Sheila Harvey (Sean); sons, Stephen Waller, John and Kenneth McKenize (Mia); 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Vivian Smith; siblings, Linda Washington, Frank David, Steve Smith (Karen); uncle, Frank Smith; aunt, Wahidah Conquest; and a host of other family and friends.
