Obituary of Mario Landor Rodriguez

Mario Landor Rodriguez 83, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 10, 1939, in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Elisa Rodriguez and Isabelino Landor. Mario received his formal education in the local schools in Puerto Rico. He began working at an early age and spent most of his years working as a handyman and in the maintenance field. He work many years for various employers and lastly was a self-employed handyman. Mario was a loving and kind hearted person. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh. He was passionate about his work and was always willing to help anyone he could. He enjoyed visiting the casinos, telling jokes and walking on the boardwalk. No matter the mood Mario, could always light up the room with laughter. Mario loved to dance and travel. He was an awesome father and role model to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Awilda Landor; parents, Elisa Rodriguez and Isabelino Landor; siblings, Julio, Carmen and Rosario Landor. Mario leaves to cherish his fond memories: his loving wife, Carmen Sellas; children, Mario, Jr. "Pito", Julio, Francisco, Mariluz and Mariam Landor, Magaly Marquez; sisters, Jenny Mendez and Sara Pacheco; fifteen grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A viewing will be 4PM to 8PM Monday, March 13, 2023, at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be Noon, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where friends may view from 10AM to Noon. Burial to follow at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, New Jersey.
