Obituary of Quoc Anh Le
Please share a memory of Quoc to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Quoc Anh Le, a loving son and brother, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27 on Friday, February 24, 2023. Quoc's family and friends are deeply saddened by this unexpected loss.
Quoc was born on March 24, 1995, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus in Galloway Township, New Jersey. He was a joyful and innocent soul; despite being born on the autism spectrum. He grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and graduated from Atlantic County Special Services School in June of 2016.
Quoc was a unique and special person who brought joy and love to everyone he met. His infectious laughter, kind heart, and love of Big Mac's endeared him to all who knew him. He was a true original, with a deep appreciation for the beauty of life and the joys of simple pleasures. Quoc taught us unconditional love of which there is no stronger example than Quoc's love of his brothers and parents, who were his guardian angels for 27 years, and now he is theirs.
Quoc's greatest joys include his love of Disney, and his legendary collection of Walt Disney Little Golden Books and Disney VHS video tapes that filled up multiple rooms of the house. His father even built him a bookshelf to accommodate his vast collection. Quoc would spend hours poring over the illustrations and stories, and his family often found him nestled in a cozy corner, surrounded by his favorite books. Quoc's love for these Disney books went beyond reading - he loved to sing along with the characters. He would often rewind and replay his favorite scenes, jumping and singing with joy.
Through school, Quoc was exposed to creativity through arts and crafts, and he eventually discovered YouTube, which opened up a whole new world of possibilities for him. He explored TV shows, Disney movies and Vietnamese lullabies. He could now have over 20 tabs of his favorite scenes all playing at once.
Before the pandemic, Quoc attended the day-program with Personalized Independent Living Opportunities and Training Services, where he made new friends and enjoyed walks with his parents, swimming, and spending time with his brothers when they visited.
Quoc's passing is a tremendous loss, but his impact on those who knew him will be felt forever. His kind heart and loving spirit inspired everyone he met and his passion for books. May he rest in peace.
Quoc is survived by: his parents, Dinh and Oanh Le; brothers, Thai Le, An Le and Khang Le; and a host of other family members and friends.
The celebration of Quoc's life will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 10AM to Noon at Greenidge Funeral Homes 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
