Obituary of Henry Melvin Allen
Henry Melvin Allen, III was born January 24,1985, Galloway, New Jersey to the proud and loving parents, Pamela Joy Williams and Henry Melvin Allen, Jr.
"Hank" as he was affectionately called by his friends and family, was more than nine pounds at birth and very tall. Hank died on December 12, 2022, in the same hospital where he was born, now named Atlanticare Regional Medical Center – Pomona Campus.
He attended the Mainand Christian School in Mays Landing for pre-school. His parents also made sure that he attended churh and was raised up in the church. As a child he played soccer for Shaner Elementary School. He went on to play football for Pleasantville High School, where he graduated in 2003.
Prior to attending high school, Hank was home schooled and taught by his mother in the 7th and 8th grades. During that time, he participated in a mentoring program at Dave's Auto Body Shop in Atlantic City. After completing high school, Hank attended Atlantic Cape Community College school, Hank attended Atlantic Cape Community College where he took libert arts classes.
He was last employed by Club Kiss Kiss as a boucner and as a bartender at Wet Willie's, both in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hank was beloved by his employers and co-workers who referred to him as "Big Man."
Henry Melvin Allen, III is predeceased by: his paternal grandparents, Beatrice and Henry Allen; maternal grandparents, Shirley Williams-Perdue and Ronald Petty John.
Henry is survived by: his mother, Pamela Williams-Boozer of Sicklerville, New Jersey; brother, David Paul Allen of Sicklerville, New Jersey; sister, Asia Allen-Andrews of Atlantic City, New Jersey; half-sister, Tracey Allen of Galloway, New Jersey; father, Henry Allen; step-mother, Elizabeth Allen; half-sister, Alexis Allen all of Las Vegas, Nevada; half-brother, Samuel Lawton of Atlanta, Georgia; his three beautiful children, Elijah, age 16, and his mother, Racheal Hester; Joshua, age 12, and his mother, Maria Rosario; and Nova, age 3, and her mother, Genesy Lopez; aunt and uncle, Tanya and Jerome Langford; and a host of other family and friends.
He always gave of what he had and witnessed of the goodness of God.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Saturday, January 7, 2023, Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where friends may call from 8AM. Interment will follow the services at approximately 12:30PM, in Lincoln Memorial Park, Harding Highway, Mays Landing, New Jersey.
