Obituary of Debra Ann Williams

Please share a memory of Debra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Debra Ann Williams was born January 12, 1963, in Vineland, New Jersey, to Lucille (Bell) and Leroy Williams. She passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 28, 2022, at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta Georgia. "Debbie" as she was affectionately known and call attended the Vineland Public Schools and was a graduate of Vineland High School, class of 1981. After high school, Debbie worked various jobs and attended phlebotomy school. Debbie worked for Walmart for over 22 years, where she obtained the position of a manager. In the summer of 2015, Debbie relocated to Millen, Georgia, where she was semi-retired. She bought herself a private mansion on six acres. She enjoyed and made the best of her home and yard. Debbie was no stranger to work. She was very handy and loved to work with her hands. Debbie enjoyed making wooden sign and other various crafts to decorate one's home or yard. She also built swing sets, decks, fences and remodeled her own bathroom in her home. However, after a few months into her retirement, Debbie was on the hunt for work. She started working for Trinity Food Service at Jenkins Correctional Center in Millen, Georgia. When Debbie wasn't working at the jail or around her home, she enjoyed reading, going shopping and listening to music. One of her favorite artists was Prince. Debbie's favorite color was red which was evident as seen in most of her attire and/or the many lady bug decorations she collected. Debbie was a loving and free spirted person who enjoyed giving to others, especially her grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren dearly and would give them the world. Debbie's loving and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by: her sister, Lorraine Williams and brother, Samuel "Sammy" Williams. Debbie leaves to cherish her fond memories: her daughter, Dashell Mosley (Roy); son, Terrek Williams; mother, Lucille Williams; father, Leroy Williams; brother, Roger Williams; sister, Dr. Stacy Williams-Hall (Kerry); eleven grandchildren, two uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will be 11AM Friday, January 6, 2023, at Truth Baptist Church, 312 New York Avenue, Newfield, New Jersey, where family and friends may view from 9AM to 11AM. Interment to follow at Fordville Cemetery, Bridgeton, New Jersey.
