Obituary of Joyce Ann Haigler

Please share a memory of Joyce to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Joyce Ann Haigler, 59, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey was instantaneously called home to be with the lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was born to late Doris and George Alan Haigler on October 9, 1963. She graduated from Oakcrest High School. After completing high school, she never stopped learning. Joyce took college classes whenever she could to stay knowledgeable. For twenty-five years Joyce worked for Bally's Casino. She then moved on to Atlanicare and BassPro Shop, where she worked until her passing. Joyce loved being outdoors and surrounded by people. If the Eagles were playing you could count her in for an hour of happiness. Her love for her family and friends was her greatest legacy. If you ever had an encounter with her, it was an unforgettable experience because the love she possessed was felt. She pushed her nieces and nephews far beyond what they believed they could do. Aunt "JOYsee", as they called her, would praise them when they were doing something well. However, she also would correct their behavior when they were doing something wrong. She believed it cost nothing to be kind. She also believed that when you ask God for something, you have to be willing and ready to receive it. Joyce is survived by: her two brothers, Bobby Haigler (Robin) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and George Haigler (Rashonnah) of Detroit, Michigan; life time companion, John Collier; and a cavalry of nieces; nephews; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She is also be missed by: her co-workers at Bass Pro Shop and Atlanticare; Eagles fan squad; and a host of friends. Welcoming her into Heaven to show her around are: her parents; brother, Raynard; and special aunt, Annie. Services to celebrate Joyce's life will be 11AM, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 640 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, where friends may call from 9AM. Interment to follow the services in Egg Harbor City Cemtery. Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Homes, Atlantic City, where condolences may be left at www.greenidgefuneralhomes.com.
