Obituary of James Deshuan Quadir Wallace

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James Deshuan Quadir Wallace, 42, of Atlantic City, New Jersey was a humble "Street Disciple" loved by many in his travels. He was born November 8, 1979, in Newark, New Jersey to Priestess Wallace and James English II. The day of his transition, November 7, 2022, his West Side neighborhood of Atlantic City dedicated a seven day memorial in his honor complete with a balloon tribute send off on the eight day. James was diagnosed with mental Illness in the guise of "Mild Schizophrenia" at the age of 17 where he lived in Brooklyn, New York with his mom and only sibling. A few years later, he moved to Florida to be close to his grandmother. Always with thoughts of Love and always reaching out for connections, James had an innate gift for spoken words, rapping to music he either downloaded or created from the internet, this was his Self-Proscribed Therapy. When James was 39, he relocated from Florida to Atlantic City, New Jersey to be close to his mom. He fell in Love with the friendliness of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Atlantic City would be his final destination. November, the month of Thanksgiving, claimed one of the most Grateful Souls to ever walk the Earth. James will be missed dearly. He was loved by many. He camouflaged his mental illness for a very long time. He leaves to mourn: his mother, Priestess Wallace; brother, Jermaine Wallace; grandmother, Carmelita Church; uncles; aunts; cousins; nieces; and many others who knew his spirit. It seemed like only yesterday we thought you would always be here, but God called you Home. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Well done James Deshuan you are in a better place now Resting In Paradise. "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted." St. Matthew 5:4 Funeral services will be 12:15pm, Monday, November 28, 2022, Greenidge Funeral Homes, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where family and friends may view from 11:00am.
