Obituary of Donald Sidney Forth

Donald Sidney Forth was born August 2, 1961, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Emma Lavinia (Waters) Forth. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022, after an extended illness. Donald was educated in the Atlantic City public schools and attended Atlantic City High School. After high school he enlisted and served his country in the United States Army. Donald later became a certified auto mechanic through Pennco Tech College. He was a very talented and skilled master auto mechanic and worked for many years in the industry. Donald later relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio and resided there for 20 years before his passing. While there he furthered his education, first obtaining an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in PC Support. He excelled in his studies and graduated Cum Laude. Donald was very driven, disciplined and loved to learn. He went on to obtain a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati. He then worked for Auto Zone as Computer Information Tech until the time of his illness. Donald accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was an active member of Bethel Apostolic #2 Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Hill. His love for the Lord led him to create Scriptures for Living, in which biblical scriptures were engraved onto plaques. He went as far as obtaining a Trademark Registration for the entity from the United States Government. Donald was an avid fisherman, specializing in flounder fishing. His other favorite pastimes were repairing cars, playing basketball and watching basketball. He was a very generous soul and loved doing whatever he could to assist his family and others in whatever capacity necessary. He was tough and a fierce fighter for what was right. He was affectionately known by his mother as "My Sunshine" and "My Wonderful Son" He was preceded in death by: his brother, William "Lefty" Forth; sister, Cynthia Concepcion. Donald leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Emma Lavinia Forth; children, Terrell D. Forth, Donald Forth and Courtney Taylor-Walter (Richard); sisters, Maria Barber, Janice Gilmore (Forrest), Kathy Monroe, Darlene Forth-Ellison (Benjamin); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Funeral services to celebrate Donald's life will be 11AM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Sanctuary of Praise Tabernacle Church, 1311 S. Main St, Pleasantville, NJ, where friends and family may view from 9AM to 11AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
