Obituary of Tracy Lydell Ingram
Tracy Lydell Ingram, 56, formerly of Atlantic City, New Jersey, passed away suddenly at his home in New Carrollton, Maryland on December 24, 2021.
Tracy was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to Betty (Murphy) and Norman Ingram on August 9, 1965.
He was raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and graduated from Atlantic City High School. Tracy enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1983, serving for four years.
Tracy enjoyed cooking and worked in the food service industry at various restaurants between New Jersey and the DMV area.
He was employed at Bob Evans Restaurant in Bowie, Maryland, as a short order cook. He was diligent in any place of work and held good spirits with those around him in the work environment.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Norman and Betty Ingram; and sister, Andrea.
Tracy is survived by: his daughter, Serenity Barnes; nieces, Alisha and Lauren Ingram; God-mother, Sharon (Libby) Howze; God-sister, Sonya Harvey; close friends and cousins, Darrin Williams and Tablique Muhammad; and a host of other special cousins, family and friends.
Tracy was buried alongside his parents at the Atlantic City Cemetery in Pleasantville, New Jersey.
