Obituary of Jacob Zekiel Lee

Jacob Zekiel Lee, 22 of Pleasantville, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on February 13, 2022. He was born January 29, 2000 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and was the son of Rosina Antoinette Torres and Zekiel Richard Lee.

Jacob attended the Galloway Township Schools and Abeka Academy online. Jacob was a loving son and brother. As the oldest sibling he was very helpful in the development of his young brother and sisters. He taught them a lot, but more importantly how the love the Lord. He made it a point to teach them that family was everything.

Jacob had a serious side however; he also was a jokester and prankster. He enjoyed making people laugh. He loved to tell jokes and also loved to get people on edge as he could be very domineering or intimidating. Jacob loved the Lord and he had a heart for single mothers and people who suffered from addiction. He was an avid video gamer who met and played with many people around the world. Jacob was such a blessing to his mother, siblings and many friends near and far. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Richard Lee; maternal grandparents, Julio and Rose Marie Torres; and stepfather, Kamal Chand. 

Jacob leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Rosina Torres-Chand; father, Zekiel Richard Lee; brother, Jaxson Chand; sisters, Jada Lee and Jayna Chand; paternal grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" DellaPorta (Don); and a host of aunts; uncles; cousins; other family members and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Jacob's life will be 2PM, Monday, April 18, 2022, at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
