Obituary of Geneva Morton

Geneva Morton, 81, of Atlantic City, New Jersey transitioned to the celestial shore on Sunday, January 30, 2022, while peacefully at home. She was born August 4, 1940, to Magnolia (nee' Sutzer) and Robert Morton in Danville, VA. Geneva completed her education in the Danville public schools. She had a zest for life. Early in life she professed that Jesus Chris was her savior at the Holy Taberancle of Jesus Christ. Geneva worked locally at many prominent businesses as a service manager. While in Danville, Geneva met and married Charles Richardson. The two later relocated to Atlantic City, New Jersey where they made their home. Geneva had love for dancing. She also enjoyed fishing, knitting, cooking and playing cards. To cherish her memories are: children, Debbie and Donald Morton (Donna), Charles, Cotina and Michael Richardson (Shania); siblings, Pastor Dorothy Glass, Rhonda, Nardia and Kenneth; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnolia and Robert Morton; husband, Charles Richardson; brother, Robert "Main" Morton and sister, Marilyn "Footney" Morton. Funeral services will be 11AM, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, All Wars Memorial Building, 1510 Adriatic Avenue, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 10AM.
