Juerell "Gerald" Bo" Hill 84, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, departed this life November 3, 2021, at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Campus. "Gerald" as he was affectionately called, was born September 6, 1937, in Abbeyville, Georgia, to Mattie and Willie B. Hill. Gerald later moved and was raised in Augusta, Georgia, where he attended Lucy C. Laney High School. At the age of 17, he moved to Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he resided for the remaining of his life. Gerald had multiple jobs but eventually became self-employed. He operated his own landscaping business for many years. Gerald was an avid golfer. He loved to play golf, which he was very good. He earned many trophies and plaques, that proved and displayed his commitment and love for the sport. Gerald was preceded in death by: his parents, Willie B. and Mattie Hill; brother, Harold Hill, Sr.; sisters, Hazel Hill Scott, Joan Hill Barnes, Carol Anita Rodgers; daughter, Gerlynn Hill Becton; sister-in-law, Shirley Hill. Gerald leaves to cherish loving memories to: his five daughters, Cheryl Fountain of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Rita Bradley of Augusta, Georgia, Terrasita Hill Loftin of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Ursula Bachman Atkins ofNorth Carolina, Nafisah Alston of Houston, Texas; son, James Hill of Atlantic City, New Jersey; brothers, Calvin Hill of Augusta, Georgia, Willie "Bubba" Hill, Jr. of Thompson, Georgia; sister, Carole Hill of Thompson, Georgia; sister-in-law, Barbara Hill of Augusta, Georgia; brother-in-law, Robert Rodgers of Augusta, Georgia; three sons-in-law, Eli Becton, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia, Shawn Bradley of Augusta, Georgia, Jefferie Atkins of North Carolina; and host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
