Obituary of David St. Patrick Allen
David St. Patrick Allen, " Debo, Shelly belly, D", 38, years young, was born on January 25, 1983, in Lethe, Hanover, Jamaica. Son of late St. Patrick Allen and Millicent Hulda Wright. David lost his battle with COVID-19 in Camden, New Jersey on September 5, 2021. David lived between Atlantic City New Jersey, and the Bronx New York. He attended Apex Technical school and became an Automotive Technician. He worked as a mechanic at Chrysler Jeep, GMC, Mercedes Benz of Port Chester, and Mercedes at Pelham. David switch careers and end with being a Truck Driver. His Passion was Driving and he loved it. David was larger than life, when he would enter a room you would notice him and if you didn't, you would definitely hear him. He loved to talk or "chat" as we say in Jamaica. David had a beautiful sense of humor. David was always smiling, his whole face would light up and his eyes would glow. He had a sweet mouth and a sweet talk. David loved his kids, family and friends. He loved his cars especially Mercedes, his AMG 63 and his ML 350. He would call them his wife. David loved playing football, reading, singing, fishing, relaxing, watching movies and most of all chatting up a storm. David loved his gadgets. His toy car collections and his countless watches. David was loved. Gone too soon but will always be in our hearts. He is survived by: his wife, Theresa Thompson-Allen; children, Janiyah, Xavier and Taèyah ; siblings, Floyd Bernard and sister-in-law, Cristina, Sarah Amoy McFarlane; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family. David is cherished for his happiness, comical ways, honesty, kindness, respect and modesty. He'll be missed by all who experienced his presence. David St Patrick Allen, Debo, D, Dad, Dave, Shelly Belly, Big Balla memories will live on. Sleep in easy David, forever rest in the arms of Yahweh . Your legacy lives on in the hearts of everyone that loves you. A visitation will be 10AM-Noon, Saturday, September 18, 2021, Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City.
