Obituary of Angelique Danielle Gregory Bennett
Angelique Danielle "Lady Wildflower" Gregory Bennett, 52, of Pleasantville, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She was born July 23, 1968, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Irene Woody Jones and James Winstead.
"Angel" as her family and friends loved to call her, received her formal education from St. Peters Parochial School in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Angel was employed as an Intake Counselor at the John Brooks Recovery Center in Mays Landing, New Jersey. She was rewarded by helping those that were struggling with addiction and recovering. Shortly after receiving her position at John Brooks, she married the love of her life Brandon Gregory Bennett. She loved and enjoyed every minute of her new role as a wife. Angel was an active member of the Bethel Evangelical Outreach Ministries in Pleasantville, New Jersey. She enjoyed and felt rewarded in helping the less fortunate, spending time with family and friends and being the ultimate foodie with her husband. She was funny, smart, loud and fabulous. Her personality was bright and bold like her smile and laugh. Angel always knew what to say and when to say it. She lived in her truth and made sure everyone around her knew it. She lived as she loved, with all of her heart and soul. She will be truly missed by family, friends, colleagues, church family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Irene Woody Jones; grandmother, Lillian Cassaboon; aunt, Carolyn Woody.
Angel leaves to cherish her many memories, her beloved husband, Brandon Gregory Bennett; children, Se'Aira C. Mozelle, Sha'Kira R. Mozelle and Ashante L. Tate, three beautiful step-children; daughters-in-law, Shaniqua Spell, Chante Bryan and Cassandra Clavelli; siblings, Lamar Winstead, Ora Jones Spence, Russell Jones, Jr. and Nicole Chapman; brother-in-law Andre Spence; sister-in-law, Heather McGrath; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A service of remembrance to celebrate her life will be 5PM Friday, July 30, 2021, at Greenidge Funeral Homes, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where friends may call from 4PM to 5PM.
