Obituary of Brian Lamar Sclafford-Clemons
BRIAN LAMAR SCLAFFORD-CLEMONS, "BIZZ", was born November 29, 1983, in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Laveria Sclafford and James Clemons, Sr. He departed this early life on Saturday, March 27, 2021, in Austell, Georgia.
Brian attended the Atlantic City public schools and later, attended Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Upon completing high school, Brian worked in the gaming industry, and also attended Atlantic Cape Community College.
Later, he moved to Nottingham, Maryland, then relocated to Georgia with his wife, Taryn and their small children.
He was employed as a professional truck driver.
Brian was a loving person, who was big on family. When Brian was not driving long distances, he enjoyed spending family time with his wife and children. Brian was a special individual, who touched the hearts of so many through his warm spirit, positive demeanor, and jokes that he told often. Brian was also a hard worker, who lovingly, provided for his family and would help anyone in need.
Brian was predeceased by: his father, James Clemons, Sr.; uncle, Frederick Weldon Sclafford; and nephew, Quran Bazemore.
Brian leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Taryn Clemons; children, Rory Clemons, Landon Clemons, and Harper Clemons; mother, Laveria Sclafford; aunt, Francita Hannah (Anthony); his "second mom", Elaine Gilliam; brothers, James Clemons, Jr., Troy Clemons, Danny Clemons, Kai Wilkinson (Gabriella), Tavares "Mu" James and William "Dink" James (Marisa); sisters, Unique "Nicki" Clemons, Reeshima James, Meyesha Gilliam (Bobby) and Kenasha Gilliam (Qumar); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends are invited to gather 4PM, Saturday, April 17, 2021, in Oscar McClinton Park, the Boardwalk and Madison Avenues, Atlantic City, New Jersey to celebrate Brian's life.
