My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the Amado family. May God grant you strength, comfort and peace during this sorrowful time. I've missed her and the family for many years now since I moved back to Florida. I have known the family for many years my sister and her mother Molly we're the best of friends forever. I worked with her mother for ten years and me and Brenda we're great friends. May God give you the courage to carry on as Molly and Brenda would have you to do. As they were two of the most beautiful souls I have ever met.

I will miss Brenda, my dear dear friend! We attended VSU together and looked out for one another while there. It was with my deepest sadness to hear about her passing.
To Larry, carry on my brother. You brought her much joy and happiness as she told me over the rare tines we spoke.
May God welcome her and she will never be forgotten.

On behalf of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc, Eastern Region, I offer our sincere condolences to our dear brother Larry and the family. Our dear Sister Brenda loved our organization and supported our many programs through youth, education, and service. We loved her and will miss her smile! We leave these thoughts by James W. Riley, "AWAY"
I cannot say and I will not say
That she is dead; she is just away
With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand
She has wandered into an unknown land,
And left us dreaming how very fair
Its needs must be since she lingers there;
And you, Oh you, who the wildest yearn
For the old time step and the glad return
Think of her faring on as dear
In the love of there as the love of here
Think of her still in the same I say
She is not dead, she is just away

I am saddened to know that this beautiful spirit walks among us no more. I will never forget her hearty greeting whenever she encountered her Sorors at numerous events over the years. There was hardly ever a time she did not have a kind word to say or take the time to share a laugh. Her energy was bright and warm and she was always willing to work. My sincere condolences on the loss of this bright and wonderful woman. May she rest in heavenly peace. Blessings to the family at this time.
She will never be forgotten,

My deepest condolences to the family of Brenda. We were high school friends with fond memories that I will remember forever. When Brenda retired from her amazing career as a teacher we got together so I could get a chance to say hi to her mom and help her with her retirement party invitations. They had to be red, her favorite color. Sweet dreams to you my friend. Rest In Peace.

,Sending my prayers and condolences to Brenda's family. She was a mentor to my son. She drafted him into The Kudos fraternity. I trusted her and Larry to insure his safety when he attended the conventions.
I used to enjoy sitting with Brenda and Larry at Ubt functions. The two of them were so comical. Lastly, gonna miss her updates on her grandson Samir, whom she dearly loved. I cannot say she is gone too soon because it was Gods will. Sleep in peace Brenda. You will be missed.

Surely from God we come and to Him we must all return. To the family my condolences.
Brenda and l became close friends when we attended Lincoln Universitie's Graduate Program.
I was fortunate enough to have her teach my daughter at New Jersey Avenue School.
Brenda gave her all to her students and their parents..She had a heart of gold. Everyday after work you could find Brenda at her parent's house where I got the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wally and Ms. Molly two of the sweetest people I've ever met.
Brenda worked hard and partied hard and got it honest from her dad; he loved to dance.
Brenda enjoyed her life; she married Larry a man like her father; who treated her like a Queen I always told her that...I will surely miss my friend.
