Obituary of Malcolm Asbury May
Malcolm A. May, Sr., 90, of Atlantic City, New Jersey passed away peacefully in his home January 2, 2021. He was the son of Ruth Johnson and Clarence May and was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 3, 1930. He graduated from Laurinburg Institute in North Carolina then joined the United States Army where he received the Korean Service and United Nations Service Medals with two Bronze Stars. After his honorable discharge from the Army he returned to Atlantic City where he worked at various bottling companies before securing a position as a lineman for Atlantic Electric where he worked for nearly 20 years. Malcolm was an entrepreneur with his own mercantile license and cab of which he was proud to have. He is survived by: his loving wife, Inez, sister Arnita Lindo; children Bonita Walker, Rene May, Malcom May, Jr., Sandra May and Myra May (Troy Siford); step-sons, David Bush and William Anderson and a host of other family and friend. Military Honors will be 11AM, Monday, January 11, 2021, Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Route 50, Estell Manor.
