Obituary of Ronald Radcliff Braithwaite

Ronald Radcliff Braithwaite was born March 22, 1939, in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Nathalie Braithwaite and Louis Warren. Ronald passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 in the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center -- City Campus. Ronald attended the Atlantic City Public Schools. He graduated from Atlantic City High School with the Class of 1957. He honorably served his country in the United States Army while stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Ronald worked as a bellman for several hotels and casinos in this area. He was lastly employed at Resorts International Casino and Hotel from where he retired after many years of service. In his leisure time, Ronald enjoyed riding his bike, watching westerns and baseball. He was an avid jazz lover. He was a talented artist. He had a good heart and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He also had a good sense of humor. Ronald is predeceased by: his mother, Nathalie Braithwaite; his father, Louis Warren; and his sister, Janette. He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Ronette Braithwaite-Johnson (Alfred Armstrong); son, Antonio Stovall (Loraine); his two devoted cousins, Hazel W. Coles & Jessica O. Brown; other cousins, Errol Browne, Hilton Braithwaite (Cheryl), Gary Braithwaite (Candice), Scott Braithwaite (Cherrise), Tia C Coles (Jeremy), Darlene Henry; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A visitation will be from 4pm to 6PM, Monday, January 4, 2021, at Greenidge Funeral Homes, Inc. 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
