We are so sorry to hear about the death of sweet Cousin Pete. I've always enjoyed talking to her at our family reunions or whenever she would visit Culpeper. She was such a gentle soul full of knowledge. I pray for the family that they will receive much support from Jehovah, the god of comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3). We love you! Karen Hackley
One of the saddest things anyone can experience is the death of their dear Mother. As the saying goes, you only get one; and what a wonderful one she was. I have always admired Ms. Petey for her loving kindness, her patience and her peaceful disposition. It is my hope that all may find it comforting to know that at John 11:11 death is compared to a peaceful sleep.
The Bible offers much needed comfort for those who are grieving and even gives us hope with God’s promise of bringing the dead back to life. John 5: 28,29; Job 14: 14,15; Isaiah 26:19.
May we always remember her good advise and her generous spirit, you never left her home hungry or feeling unloved. My deepest condolences.
