Obituary of Annie Lee Williams
On February 28, 1946, God gave us a beautiful gift that was born by the name of Annie Lee Hill-Williams. She was born in Mount Willie, Alabama, to Hortie Hill and Jewell Boone-Hill. She departed this life on April 18, 2020, in Andover New Jersey, at the age of 74. In 1968, Annie Lee graduated from Central High School in Hayneville, Alabama. She later met and married John H. Williams II, and from this union were born: two sons, John III, and Gregory Williams. After moving to Atlantic City, New Jersey, she had her third son, Boris. Annie Lee worked at Trump Castle for many years until her health began to decline. She was a strong, loving and caring person. Annie Lee was very diligent in keeping the home she made for her children immaculate. She believed her work represented her and she took great pride in her job. Annie Lee was preceded in death by: her husband, John H. Williams; parents, Jewil and Hotrie Hill; siblings, Gennie Hill, Theresa Hill-Carter, Wynette Hill-Harris, and Ora Lee Perdue. The loving memories of her life will be cherished by: her sons, John H. Williams III from Sicklerville, New Jersey, Gregory and Boris K. Williams from Atlantic City New Jersey, five grandchildren, John Smith, Qaun James Williams, Isaiah Williams, Zayna Williams and Latodd Williams; one great grandchild, Zyaire Williams; sisters, Bernice Hill from Atlantic City, New Jersey and Barbara Mckenzie (Windell) from Pleasantville New Jersey, a brother, Joe Chephus Hill (Angie) from Ocala, Florida; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were private due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mrs. Williams was laid to rest in the Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, New Jersey.
