Obituary of Maurice Jethro Forrest
Maurice Jethro Forrest was born January 3, 1961, in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Creola Grace Johnson and Robert Forrest. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Maurice, affectionately know as "Big Hass", attended the public schools of Atlantic City and Pleasantville. After high school, he worked as a cook at Claridge Casino and as a tailor at a local dry cleaner for many years. Maurice was a member of Living Water Wesleyan Church in Pleasantville, NJ.
Maurice is preceded in death by his parents, Creola Grace Johnson and Robert Forrest and sister, Marion Forrest.
Maurice leaves to cherish his memories: siblings, Priscilla Darden, Robert Forrest, Darlene Forrest, Danielle Forrest, Monique Forrest, Hassan Forrest, Carla Forrest (Hall); step-sister, Monica Hall; step-brothers, Michael Hall, Jr., Theodore Hall, Marlon Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We as a family would like to thank his closest friends , Pepe and Dre.
Our brother was an amazing man, brother, uncle, and friend; he will always be loved and truly missed by all of us! Rest in Peace Big Hass.
