Obituary of Mary Justiniano

Mary Brown Justiniano, 89, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2018, peacefully in her home. Mary was known by most family and friends as "Nana". She was born in Burlington, NJ. She was raised in South Egg Harbor, NJ, where she attended public schools. She received Christ in her early teens. As a young adult she moved to Atlantic City, NJ, where she was last employed by Bally's Hotel and Casino until 1998, when losing her sight caused her to retire.

She is predeceased by: husband, Joseph; parents, Susie Ella (Houston) and Lucius Brown; step-mother, Annie Mae Brown (who raised Mary from a very young age after the passing of her birth mother); three daughters, Ramona Sanders, Darlene and Sheila Justiniano; sisters and brothers, Blanche Thomas, Emma Sanders, Rebecca Cruzado, Anna Colon, Donna Ligion, and Matthis and Lucius Brown.

She leaves to cherish: children, Anthony (Bernetta) Brown, Perfecto (Susan) Brown, Steve (Karen) Murray, Victor (Pamela) Justiniano, Don (Cynthia) Justiniano, Carmen (Robert) Black, Crystal (Sterling) Duncan, and Angela James; sisters, Sara Meachem, Jessie Faulkner; brother, John Brown; step-sisters, Eva Hogans, Annette Knight; sister-in-law, Josephine; brother-in-law, James Ligion; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be 11AM, Saturday, April 7th, 2018, Greenidge Funeral Homes, Inc., 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ, where friends may call from 9AM. Interment to follow at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.
