Estella M. Charman, 80, of Atlantic City, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 17, 2010. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 29, 1929, to Victor Sampson and Irene Coles-Sampson. She was the youngest of three daughters and attended the Philadelphia Public Schools System. Later she moved to Atlantic City in 1949, to be there for the passing of her grandmother, Estella Johnson. "Stella", as she was known, was a social worker for the Atlantic County Welfare Board. Before her retirement, she was also a court clerk for the Atlantic County Court House in Atlantic City. "Stella" leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Victor Charman; daughters, Vikki Lyn Fitzgerald (Ben), and Stephanie Isaac (Samuel); sons, Victor Charman and Reginald Edghill (predeceased); grandchildren, Mia, Michael, Makia (JP), Christopher, and Reggie Jr.; great grandchildren, Jade, Samira, Inaya, and Taison; sisters, Victoria Sampson and Dolores Nicholson (predeceased); her favorite niece Jaimee Rex; nephews, Isaac Nicholson and Lance Nicholson; along with a host of friends.
