Grace Williams Culbreth, 90, of Pleasantville, New Jersey, departed this life Thursday, January 2, 2020. Grace was born on December 14, 1929, in Baltimore, Maryland to Sally (nee' Winston) and Oscar Williams. Grace grew up in Baltimore where she attended the local public schools. Grace worked for Key Circle Hospice for years, then MTX Janitorial Services both in Baltimore, then Grace moved to Atlantic City where she worked at the Showboat Casino until her retirement. While in retirement, Grace lived in Atlantic City to be near her family for whom she loved and cared. She was an amazing caretaker for her extended family. Grace embraced her family and took pride in the love that she shared with them. She was definitely loved in return by her family. In Atlantic City Grace resided at the Shore Park Apartments. She was the Tenth Floor Captain at Shore Park Apartments. Grace enjoyed making birthday celebrations special for the residents, as well as baby showers, holiday dinners and repast events after residents transitioned. Grace and several others who resided at Shore Park Apartments made sure that their complex was always clean and neat from early morning to the last thing at night. Grace loved to travel! She genuinely enjoyed making her annual trips to Las Vegas with the Villagers Civic Club, and to Walt Disney World and Caribbean cruises with her family. She was joined in holy matrimony to James Culbreth, who preceded her in death. Grace was also predeceased by: her parents, Sally and Oscar Williams; four sisters, Elinor Jefferson, Doris Hearns, Delsey and Pearl Williams; and three brothers, Roy, George and John Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory: three nieces: Charlotte Gray of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Maxine Camper of Baltimore, Maryland and Tasha Williams of Atlantic City, New Jersey; four nephews: Arby Williams of Pleasantville, New Jersey; Earl Williams of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Eugene and Ellsworth Williams, both of Baltimore, Maryland; her best friend, Tanya Terry of Baltimore, Maryland, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 11AM, Saturday, January 11, 2020, Crossroads Fellowship, 101 North First Street at Pleasant Avenue, Pleasantville, where friends may call from 9AM, interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville.
