Obituary of Michael Scott
Michael A. Scott, Sr., 66, of Pleasantville, NJ, passed away October 29, 2017. He was born March 24, 1951, in Atlantic City, NJ to Annie Pearl (Carter) Scott and the late Emanuel Scott, Sr. He attended the Atlantic City public school system. He attended Stockton University and later Rutgers University.
He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Shiloh Apostolic Cathedral, where he served as a Deacon and sang on the Men's Choir.
He was lastly employed by the City of Atlantic City as Business Administrator until his retirement in 2012.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Annie P. Scott; wife, Kathleen Scott; children, Michael Scott, Jr., Joel Scott (Magdelina), Michael Baker (Tammi), Christopher Graves and his girlfriend, Shawnee, Cicely Scott, Michelle Baker, Angelica Scott; siblings, Emanuel Scott, Jr. (Ruth), Thomas Scott (Victoria), Frank Scott (Renee), Sidney Scott (Claudette), Betty Ford (Robert), Barbara and Brenda Scott; daughter-in-law, Staci Graves, twenty-four grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be 11AM, Saturday, November 4, 2017, Shiloh Apostolic Cathedral, 505 Madison Avenue, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 9AM. Interment to follow in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, in Estell Manor.
Donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Wounded Warrior's Project.
