Dorreathea Curry Fields

Dorreathea C. Fields (Dee) departed this life on Saturday, November 25, 2017. She was born September 1, 1937, in Atlantic City to Pauline Shirk and Leroy Curry.

Dee attended the Atlantic City public schools and was a 1955, graduate of Atlantic City High School.

Dee was last employed at Trump Taj Mahal as a VIP Customer Service Rep. She also worked as a telephone operator and Union Rep. for 36 years at Verizon. She was a God fearing woman who loved to travel.

Dee was predeceased by: husband, Andrew Fields; parents, Pauline Shrink and Leroy Curry; sister, Bayyinah Sabur (Barbara Jones), and aunt Roberta S. Pritchett.

She leaves to mourn: sons, Andrew L. Fields and Rory T. Fields (Delores); grandchildren, Matthew, Rory, Jr., (Kayla), Angelica, Robert and Madison; great grandchildren, Harlow, Beckham and Loqan; brother, Umar Khuttab El (Stanley); and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank doctors: Parikh, Crisp, Adelberg, Chawla and Thakkar; many thanks to the staff at AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute in Egg Harbor Township, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus and Shore Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to Grace Today Baptist Church and Greenidge Funeral Homes.

Memorial services will be Noon, Monday, December 4, 2017, at Greenidge Funeral Homes, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 11AM. Arrangements are entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Homes, Atlantic City, where condolences may be left at
